What You'll Learn
This module aims to equip students who handle personal data with foundational knowledge of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), as well as the practical skills to assess compliance and support the implementation of data protection policies, controls, and operational processes within their organisations.
Entry Requirements
Students enrolled in the Specialist Diploma in Data Protection & AI Governance must satisfy at least one of the following entry requirements:
• Applicants should have a Polytechnic Diploma* or higher qualification in any discipline from a local public sector educational institution (PSEI).
*NYP, NP, RP, SP, or TP
• Recognition of Prior Learning
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.
