About This Course
This is a module under the Specialist Diploma in Data Protection & AI Governance.
What You'll Learn
The module equips students how to incorporate personal data protection requirements as part of the design thinking processes for data-driven activities. In addition, students will be taught good data protection practices when designing innovative digital solutions. Student is required to work on a group project to design an innovative product bearing in mind privacy by design while ideating and implementing innovative solution.
Entry Requirements
Students enrolled in the Specialist Diploma in Data Protection & AI Governance must satisfy at least one of the following entry requirements:
• Applicants should have a Polytechnic Diploma* or higher qualification in any discipline from a local public sector educational institution (PSEI).
*NYP, NP, RP, SP, or TP
• Recognition of Prior Learning
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.
