Agentic AI (Advanced): Reasoning, Planning & Supervision
About This Course
This advanced course is designed for professionals who already use Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) beyond basic prompting and want to develop deeper, practice‑oriented capabilities in designing, guiding, and supervising agentic AI systems. It focuses on applying Generative and Agentic AI to perform multi-step, goal-driven tasks, with strong emphasis on reasoning, planning, and human supervision to ensure reliability and control.
The course emphasises advanced prompting, task decomposition, contextual and agentic reasoning, retrieval‑augmented approaches, and agent coordination patterns. Through hands‑on, scenario‑based exercises, participants practise supervising AI agents across extended task chains, balancing autonomy and control to achieve consistent, high‑quality outcomes in enterprise and professional contexts.
What You'll Learn
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
-Apply advanced Generative and Agentic AI techniques to complex, multi‑step tasks that require planning, reasoning, and contextual awareness.
-Design and refine sophisticated prompting and task‑decomposition strategies to guide AI agents toward reliable, goal‑driven outcomes.
-Supervise and steer agentic AI behaviour across extended task chains, balancing autonomy and human oversight to maintain control and quality.
-Apply retrieval‑augmented and contextual reasoning approaches to improve the accuracy, relevance, and robustness of AI outputs in applied scenarios.
-Critically evaluate AI performance, limitations, and failure modes, and adjust interaction strategies when deploying AI for higher‑order cognitive work in enterprise and professional contexts.
