Agentic AI (Intermediate): Designing & Integrating Intelligent Workflows
About This Course
This intermediate‑level course builds on foundational automation skills to deepen learners’ capabilities in designing, orchestrating, and managing more complex Artificial Intelligence (AI)‑enabled workflows using low‑code workflow platforms (e.g. n8n (nodemation)).
Targeted at professionals with prior exposure to basic workflow automation, the course focuses on extending simple automations into multi‑step, end‑to‑end workflows that integrate multiple systems, data sources, and AI services.
Moving beyond single‑task automation, learners will explore intermediate workflow patterns such as multi‑system orchestration, conditional logic, error handling, data transformation, and optimisation techniques that support more reliable and maintainable workflows. Learners will also be introduced to agentic and AI‑assisted coordination concepts in a practical, applied manner, focusing on how these approaches can enhance workflow effectiveness rather than autonomous system design.
Through scenario‑based, hands‑on activities, learners will design and refine workflows that reflect realistic cross‑functional business use cases. Emphasis is placed on operational considerations such as robustness, clarity of logic, and ease of maintenance, enabling learners to adapt and improve workflows as business needs evolve.
What You'll Learn
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
-Design and customise intermediate‑level AI‑enabled workflows that extend basic automation into multi‑step, cross‑system processes using a low‑code workflow platform (e.g. n8n (nodemation)).
-Apply practical concepts of AI‑assisted and agentic workflow coordination to improve task sequencing, responsiveness, and overall workflow effectiveness.
-Configure intermediate workflow logic, including branching conditions, error handling, retries, and data transformation, to support more reliable and maintainable automations.
-Integrate multiple applications, data sources, APIs, and AI services into cohesive workflows that address realistic business use cases.
-Test, refine, and manage workflows with consideration for operational clarity, maintainability, and evolving business requirements.
-Identify suitable automation opportunities within their organisational context and prototype AI‑enabled workflow solutions that contribute to productivity and process improvement.
