About This Course
This is a module under the Specialist Diploma in Data Science (Artificial Intelligence).
What You'll Learn
This module provides learners chemical engineering principles and applications of engineering measurements, including the types of processes (unit operations) and equipment used in the chemical industry, pharmaceutical and adjacent industries. It will cover the concepts of material balance which enables learners to perform material balance on common unit operations and on processes without chemical reactions. Learners will also learn to represent processes using a block flow diagram and process flow diagram.
Entry Requirements
The participant shall be graduates with the following qualifications or higher
o Full-time Diploma from local Polytechnics from the relevant STEM fields or
o A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from the relevant STEM fields
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
