The Certificate in Operational Chemical Engineering provides participants with knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical operations, process maintenance, and chemical process control. It covers the operation and validation of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical processes and equipment in compliance with regulations and best practices, as well as basic maintenance, sampling, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and availability. Participants will also learn to operate and control chemical processes and equipment to ensure product quality and process safety.
Entry Requirements
The participant shall be graduates with the following qualifications or higher
o Full-time Diploma from local Polytechnics from the relevant STEM fields or
o A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from the relevant STEM fields
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
