Domain x AI x Design: Prototyping with AI
About This Course
It is now easy to prompt Artificial Intelligence (AI) into producing a quick prototype. The harder part is turning that into a functional prototype that behaves more like a real application. This two-day course helps participants do that by bringing together domain knowledge, AI and design thinking to turn real-world ideas into working prototypes.
Participants work with AI to shape the concept, plan the build, create the prototype step by step, and validate whether it works as expected. Through this process, participants experience how AI can support multi-step work by planning, reasoning, using tools, and coordinating actions, with human intervention at the right moments.
By the end of the course, each group will have a presentable prototype and a clearer understanding of how to work with AI in a structured, goal-oriented and human-centric way.
What You'll Learn
• Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create clearer specifications that guide prototype development.
• Break prototype development into manageable AI-assisted tasks for tracking and review.
• Apply design thinking principles to make informed product decisions at key points in the AI workflow.
• Validate whether the prototype works as expected, supports the intended user need, and fits the relevant domain context.
• Present the prototype’s purpose, value, and potential organisational use.
