About This Course
CompTIA CyberSecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification is an intermediate-level certification designedto demonstrate the knowledge and competencies of a security analyst or specialist with more thanthree years’ experience in the fi eld. This course prepares cybersecurity analysts for the certificationexam by CompTIA , which may be undertaken by the learner, on their own accord after thispreparatory training program.
This course covers how to monitor and detect security incidents in information systems andnetworks, and execute proper responses to such incidents. The course introduces tools and tactics tomanage cybersecurity risks, identify various types of common threats, evaluate the organization'ssecurity, collect and analyze cyber security intelligence, and handle incidents as they occur.

Entry Requirements
GCE ‘O’ Level with a pass in English , or WSQ Advanced Certificate (or equivalent) in any discipline, or Language Proficiency
WPL Level 4 or equivalent (able to understand and communicate technical information in English).
Digital Literacy
Basic computer skills and familiarity with using web-based applications.
Assumed Skills and Knowledge (Recommended)
Foundational understanding of computer systems and hardware.
Prior completion of CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) or similar basic IT course is advantageous but not compulsory.
Strong motivation to build a career in networking or IT infrastructure.
