Creative Play Architects: Loose Parts, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) & Sustainable Learning
About This Course
This course empowers early childhood educators and parents to design rich, open-ended learning experiences using loose parts, recycled materials, and eco-friendly resources. Grounded in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) and inquiry-based learning, participants will explore how play, creativity, and sustainability can be integrated into both classroom and home environments. Through hands-on session and design labs, educators and parents learn to create engaging play invitations, manage safety and risk, and document learning effectively. The course supports families and centres in delivering low-cost, high-impact learning experiences that nurture creativity, problem-solving, and environmental awareness.
