Engineering Drawing
About This Course
This Engineering Drawing course provides a practical, multi‑disciplinary foundation for participants to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings across Electrical and Instrumentation, Civil and Structural, Piping, and Process Safety domains. Participants will gain hands‑on understanding of key drawing types such as layout, isometric, and structural drawings, along with core system concepts, symbols, codes, and standards. The course emphasises drawing interpretation for real project use, including basic material take‑offs, equipment identification, and cross‑discipline coordination, while integrating Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) and process safety requirements relevant to both greenfield and brownfield projects to support safe and effective project execution. The course is designed for engineers, supervisors, and project or operations personnel who need to read, interpret, and coordinate engineering drawings across Electrical and Instrumentation, Civil and Structural, Piping, and Process Safety disciplines in industrial or plant-based projects.
