Low Tension Electrical Engineering Management: Practical Skills and Knowledge
About This Course
This course equips participants with practical skills and knowledge in low-tension electrical installations, including inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and the safe use of electrical components and equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.
What You'll Learn
• Participants will be able to use and operate multi-meters, insulation resistance testers, earth fault loop impedance tester, polarity tester, phase rotation tester and RCD testers
• Participants will be able to understand and apply electrical safety principles in working scenarios
• Participants will learn the visual inspection on new and re-wired electrical installation based on code of practice and regulations
• Participants will learn and perform the pre-and post-energization checks and testing on new electrical installation using appropriate test equipment
• Participants will learn and perform electrical testing (dead and live tests) and understand common electrical faults, including overload, short-circuit, earth faults and conductor transposed on new and re-wired electrical installation
