WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Buildings
About This Course
The WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Building course equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively to fire emergencies in building environments. The course focuses on the roles and responsibilities of Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members as first responders during fire incidents, particularly in commercial, industrial, and public buildings.
Learners will be trained to apply emergency response procedures, operate firefighting equipment safely, coordinate evacuation and rescue activities, and support incident handover to external emergency responders. The course adopts a competency-based approach that combines theory with hands-on practice, ensuring learners are prepared to act decisively and safely during fire emergencies in buildings.
