4. Apply Gas Detection Instruments and other control measures when working in confined space
5. Implement the safe use of personal protective equipment and respiratory protective equipment when working in a confined space
6. Assist in Implementing an Emergency Response Plan
Entry Requirements
Learners are assumed to:
• Have basic supervision skills
• Have basic knowledge of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health
requirements
• Have basic knowledge of Safety management system
• Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
• Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level
equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 5
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to
Employability Skills System (ESS) level 5
• Have at least three (3) years of relevant industry experience at
supervisory or managerial level
