(20 hrs) Capstone Project: Real-World IT Project (Part of SCTP)
About This Course
The IT Project Capstone is an intensive, hands-on course designed to synthesise and apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout an IT asset inventory or cloud computing curriculum into a comprehensive project.
Focused on real-world applicability, this capstone course challenges trainees to design, develop, and deliver a significant project in one of two key areas: IT Asset Inventory Plan or Cloud Computing Solution.
This course emphasises practical experience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing the participants to tackle complex IT challenges while ensuring they can
manage a project from inception to closure.
What You'll Learn
1. Design a plan for IT Asset Inventory or Cloud Computing Solution
2. Develop a comprehensive capstone project plan, including determining the scope of work, preparing initial documents, and obtaining stakeholder sign-off
3. Execute the capstone project by performing the defined scope of work, managing communications with stakeholders, and documenting the completed activities.
4. Finalise the capstone project by delivering the final report and securing sign-off for project closure.
5. Conduct a comprehensive review of individual phases and post-implementation outcomes in the capstone project.
Entry Requirements
Prerequisites
• Completed the Advanced Hardware and Software Troubleshooting and Cloud Computing courses awarded by @ASK Training Pte Ltd.
Language:
• Attained at least WPLN level 5 OR
• Obtained Grade C6 for GCE O level English OR
• Other equivalent qualifications
Academic:
• Obtained at least a pass or C6 at GCE O Level in at least 3 subjects OR
• Candidates with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis OR
• Mature candidates (≥ 30 years old) with 8 years of relevant working experience
