Sustainable Finance and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting For Climate Adaptation
About This Course
Sustainability reporting and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting are becoming central to how organisations communicate their climate adaptation strategies and long-term value to stakeholders. As regulatory expectations and investor scrutiny increase, the ability to translate climate data into clear, decision-useful disclosures is critical.
This course examines the evolving landscape of sustainable finance reporting and disclosure frameworks relevant to climate adaptation. Participants will examine global ESG standards, sustainability-linked reporting requirements, climate-related financial disclosures, and regulatory expectations. The course emphasises translating climate strategy into measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), aligning reporting with investor expectations, and integrating adaptation metrics into corporate governance.
Practical exercises focus on analysing sustainability reports and structuring meaningful KPIs, enabling clearer articulation of climate adaptation and resilience within financial and ESG narratives.
