CoC in Vehicle Air Conditioning Maintenance
About This Course
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to diagnose faults and perform repair work on vehicle air-conditioning systems through systematic fault identification, component replacement, refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging in accordance with industry-recommended procedures. Participants will apply sustainable refrigerant management practices and safely handle low-Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants to minimise environmental impact during repair activities. The course also provides participants with an understanding of the repair requirements and safety precautions associated with air-conditioning systems used in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and electric vehicles (EVs), enabling them to support the maintenance of emerging green mobility technologies.
What You'll Learn
1. Perform diagnosis, removal, replacement, and repair of vehicle air-conditioning refrigerant circuit components using industry-recommended repair procedures and sustainable refrigerant management practices to restore system performance while minimising refrigerant emissions.
2. Perform inspection, diagnosis, removal, replacement and repair of vehicle air-conditioning auxiliary system components using condition assessment and diagnostic techniques to support system reliability through condition assessment, fault prediction, and timely maintenance intervention.
Entry Requirements
Basic proficiency in English is advised.
Preferably, participants should have a CoC in Vehicle Air Conditioning Fundamentals or one-year relevant working experience in the automotive trade involving air-conditioning servicing.
