About This Course

This course, Leading People in an AI Accelerated Workplace, Powered by Harvard Business Impact, helps newly appointed and newly promoted managers build the confidence, judgement and practical people-leadership skills needed to lead teams in AI-influenced, fast-changing workplaces.
Many first-time managers move from doing the work themselves to leading others. This shift can be difficult when teams are also adapting to AI, digital tools, changing work expectations and different ways of communicating across generations.

The course focuses on three key skill areas:
* Emotional Intelligence and Self-Management: Participants develop self-awareness, regulate emotional responses, manage cognitive overload and build resilience when leading others through pressure, change and uncertainty.

* Team Effectiveness: Participants learn to build trust, clarify expectations, delegate effectively, give feedback, coach team members, manage conflict and facilitate psychologically safe conversations across different work styles and generations.
* IT Strategy and AI-Enabled Team Coordination: Participants examine how AI and digital tools affect team behaviours, work processes and decision-making, and learn how to support responsible digital adoption aligned with organisational IT direction.
First-time managers apply emotional intelligence, Harvard Business Impact leadership insights, coaching behaviours, conflict-management techniques and digital judgement in daily leadership situations.
