About This Course
This course is designed for registered physiotherapists who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation Health (Physiotherapy) or have foundational training in rehabilitation. It enhances competencies in assessing patients with complex health conditions affecting movement, function, and participation. Learners develop further clinical reasoning to interpret patient history, physical examination, outcome measures and diagnostic findings. The course addresses complex presentations including multimorbidity, functional decline, and progressive disease trajectories commonly seen in rehabilitation settings. Through case-based learning and workplace-based clinical observation, learners strengthen their ability to identify impairments, manage risks, and plan effective rehabilitation strategies, supporting employability and readiness for advanced clinical roles within acute, community, and specialised rehabilitation settings.
