Service Excellence Professional
About This Course
This course is designed for customer service officers, executives, representatives and team leaders who interact directly with customers across retail, hospitality, banking, telecommunications, healthcare, logistics and other customer-facing industries. It is suited to learners who are new to a customer-facing or supervisory role, as well as experienced frontline staff who want to strengthen how they manage customer perception points, behaviour analysis, touchpoints, communication, relationships, enquiries, service recovery, quality control and conflict resolution in their daily work.
Participants will work through practical frameworks and protocols used in real frontline settings, including basic customer behaviour analysis tools, customer journey mapping, cross-departmental communication habits, standard reference tools and handover protocols, a structured 5-step service recovery process, quality control checklists, and service escalation guidelines. Emphasis is placed on applying these frameworks consistently, so that service delivery remains aligned with brand values and organisational standards regardless of the situation or customer profile encountered.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to manage the full range of frontline customer interactions with greater consistency and confidence, from analysing customer behaviour and everyday enquiries to service failures and customer grievances, while maintaining professionalism, accountability and alignment with their organisation's service guidelines.
What You'll Learn
Building on this, participants will apply basic customer behaviour analysis tools to collect and organise customer interaction data, identify trends and recurring behaviour patterns, and translate these insights into practical service recommendations.
They will then create customer-centric communication patterns by mapping customer touchpoints and journeys, identifying common interaction friction points, and applying cross-departmental communication habits to elevate satisfaction across diverse user profiles.
Participants will implement relationship management practices across the customer lifecycle, tracking frontline customer relationships and applying retention techniques to support service-driven business growth. They will also manage customer enquiries professionally, applying clear information intake and greeting techniques, navigating company reference tools and information systems, and executing structured referral and handover protocols for enquiries beyond their individual scope.
Finally, participants will apply a structured 5-step service recovery protocol with a positive, ownership-driven mindset to resolve service failures and rebuild customer trust. They will execute quality control procedures and frontline verification checks to minimise operational defects and maintain desired service standards, and apply conflict management and de-escalation techniques to resolve operational conflicts and customer grievances, following service escalation guidelines and logging resolution outcomes to support continuous improvement.
