AI Strategy for Business Leaders (SF) (Classroom & Asynchronous Elearning))
About This Course
This course covers the strategic assessment, prioritisation and governance of AI adoption at executive level.
Participants learn how AI creates and erodes competitive advantage and how to size and prioritise opportunities across a value chain, covering value, feasibility, data readiness, risk and time-to-value. They then map an assigned listed company's value chain, working from its published filings and disclosures, into a ranked opportunity portfolio with outline business cases costed from live vendor pricing, produce a validated competitive intelligence brief on AI disruption in their sector, and finally build a 12-month adoption roadmap with operating model, a risk register informed by real AI incidents and a governance framework aligned to Singapore's Model AI Governance Framework and the EU AI Act, assembled into a board case and defended before a simulated board.
The work is done in Claude as the primary tool for opportunity analysis, business-case modelling and board-case drafting, with Perplexity AI providing market, competitor and regulatory intelligence. Participants use the full Claude workspace: Projects to organise scenario materials and case data, Artifacts to build the executive briefing and board case, Skills to standardise repeatable assessment workflows, Cowork and its plugins to run hands-on multi-file strategy workflows end to end, and MCP connectors to ground analysis in enterprise data.
The course suits senior executives, directors, business owners, strategy leaders and digital transformation managers. It supports progression into roles such as Head of AI Strategy, Digital Transformation Director, Strategy Director, AI Governance Lead and Chief AI Officer.

Skills Statements
11. Assess and prioritise AI opportunities in Claude, with scenario materials organised in Projects and enterprise data accessed via MCP connectors, using structured value and feasibility criteria.
2. Produce market and competitive intelligence using Perplexity AI and public company filings, validating every claim against a named source, to inform strategic AI positioning decisions.
3. Develop and present an AI adoption roadmap and board case as Claude Artifacts, with business case, operating model and governance controls, saving repeatable assessment workflows as reusable Claude Skills.
