About This Course
This module introduces learners to the AI landscape from a business perspective. Rather than focusing on technical theory, learners develop a working understanding of how large language models and generative AI tools function, where they add genuine value in an organisation, and where their limitations lie. Through guided exploration of leading AI platforms, learners build confidence in evaluating and applying AI tools across professional contexts.

• Explain key AI and generative AI concepts in non-technical business terms
• Identify and evaluate AI tools relevant to business analysis and knowledge work
• Design and refine effective prompts to produce structured, task-relevant outputs

• Apply basic AI governance principles including recognising hallucinations, bias, and output limitations
• Articulate the potential impact of AI adoption within their own industry or organisation

Entry Requirements
Basic IT literacy: ability to use a computer, navigate web-based applications, use email and productivity tools. These are essential for participation in the programme.
