Agentic AI in Data Analytics
About This Course
This module introduces students to the design and deployment of AI agents for analytics automation. Using four established design patterns (reflection, tool use, planning, and multi-agent collaboration), students progress from building single agents that perform tasks such as natural language database querying and automated exploratory data analysis, to assembling multi-agent systems where specialised agents collaborate across data preparation, analysis, visualisation, and report generation. Both code-based frameworks and visual automation platforms are used. Students learn to evaluate and debug agent behaviour through execution traces and error analysis, developing the ability to identify failure modes and improve agent reliability in real analytics workflows.
