AI-Augmented Data Visualization and Storytelling
About This Course
This module guides students through the full analytics and visualisation workflow with generative AI embedded at every stage. Students work with natural language querying tools, smart chart recommendation engines, automated insight discovery features, and AI-powered narrative generation. Visual design principles and data storytelling techniques are taught alongside the AI tools so that students develop the judgement to evaluate, refine, and tailor AI-generated visualisations for different audiences and business contexts. The module emphasises output validation: students practise identifying misleading visuals, checking AI-generated narratives against underlying data, and applying design thinking to produce clear and credible analytics outputs.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should possess a relevant (Business, Engineering, or Technology) local Polytechnic Diploma, ITE Technical Diploma / Technical Engineer Diploma / Work-Study Technical Diploma or Degree.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may be required to go through an interview and/or entrance test.
