Future Ready Moves: Cross-Functional Influence & Strategic Impact in an AI-Enabled Organisation
About This Course
Future Ready Moves: Cross-Functional Influence & Strategic Impact is designed for leaders who must drive alignment, innovation, and results across functions in increasingly AI-enabled organisations. The programme strengthens critical such as capabilities—Behavioural Economics in Design, Change Management, Conflict Management, and Business Innovation and Management—to enable leaders to influence beyond authority and translate strategy into coordinated action.
Participants will shift from managing within functional silos to operating as organisational integrators. They will learn to navigate interdependencies, diagnose resistance and change fatigue, and address cross-functional misalignments that impede execution. The programme emphasises practical application of behavioural insights to design influence strategies, differentiate technical and adaptive challenges, and lead sustainable change initiatives that build shared ownership across teams.
Leaders will also develop structured approaches to diagnosing and resolving structural conflicts arising from competing goals, metrics, and resource constraints. Through facilitated exercises and applied case work, they will practise restoring trust, managing trade-offs, and building consensus aligned to organisational priorities.
In addition, the programme equips participants to identify high-value AI use cases, evaluate innovation opportunities, and influence senior stakeholders to secure buy-in for growth initiatives. By integrating stakeholder mapping, sense-making communication, and action planning, learners will leave with a 60-day implementation roadmap to drive cross-functional impact while balancing speed, risk, ethics, and long-term value creation. What You'll Learn
2. Diagnose cross‑functional challenges by distinguishing technical issues from adaptive challenges and identifying ownership, authority, and alignment gaps across teams.
3. Enable a change‑seeking culture across functions by recognising where resistance, fatigue, and misalignment emerge between teams and creating conditions for shared learning and adaptation.
4. Influence stakeholders across functions without formal authority by mapping interests, incentives, and constraints and applying appropriate influence strategies.
5. Lead cross‑functional change initiatives by aligning priorities, narratives, and success measures across teams while balancing competing demands.
6. Apply judgment when evaluating cross‑functional AI and digital use cases, balancing value creation, readiness, risk, ethics, and accountability.
7. Use strategic communication and sense‑making to translate strategy, data, and AI insights into shared understanding and coordinated action across diverse stakeholders.
8. Manage cross‑functional conflict and trade‑offs constructively by addressing structural sources of tension such as goals, metrics, and resource constraints.
9. Develop a cross‑functional leadership action plan with clear priorities, success indicators, and follow‑up actions to drive sustained impact beyond a single team.
10. Demonstrate understanding and application of cross-functional leadership, stakeholder influence, responsible AI decision-making, strategic communication, conflict management, and action planning through written assessment and case study application.
