(SCTP Module) Data-Driven Storytelling with Generative AI
About This Course
This course brings together the disciplines of data-driven decision-making and data storytelling, empowering learners to harness the full potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the entire analytics lifecycle — from raw data to impactful narrative.
Learners will gain hands-on experience in data preparation, statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and visualization, while mastering tools such as Tableau, Power Business Intelligence (BI), Python, and leading Generative AI platforms. They will learn to structure data science projects using the Cross-industry standard process for data mining Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework, design scalable analytics pipelines, and ensure compliance with data governance standards General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What You'll Learn
2. Analyse data patterns using statistical inference, regression, and machine learning techniques to construct predictive models that address real-world business challenges.
3. Organise data science projects by applying the data mining Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework and evaluating analytics solutions for efficiency, scalability, and Return On Investment (ROI).
4. Design compelling data visualisations and interactive dashboards that communicate insights clearly and align with stakeholder needs.
5. Apply Generative AI tools to automate reporting, enhance data narratives, and accelerate insight generation across analytical workflows.
6. Synthesise data insights and subject matter expertise into strategic presentations and visual stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
7. Evaluate data visualisations critically to ensure design integrity, inclusivity, and ethical responsibility, including bias awareness and transparent Artificial Intelligence (AI) use.
8. Design scalable, high-performing data science practices and pipelines that support organisational growth and long-term analytics capability.
