About This Course

This 3-day, hands-on course builds core ServiceNow administration capability while developing several in-demand emerging competencies. Learners begin by applying User Experience Design principles as they navigate and compare the classic UI, Service Operations Workspace, and Employee Center, learning to optimize the experience across different user personas. From there, the course moves into Business Process Re-Engineering, as learners analyze business needs and configure applications, forms, and fields to streamline day-to-day workflows. A significant portion of the course strengthens Data Design skills through building table structures, schema maps, and access controls, alongside working directly with the CMDB's underlying data model. Learners then develop Workflow Digitalisation capability by building Self-Service offerings and automating processes using Workflow Studio, before applying Data Visualisation techniques to construct dashboards, charts, and notifications that drive platform-wide productivity. The course also covers System Configuration Management, where learners prepare update sets and migrate changes while maintaining consistency across the instance lifecycle, and closes with foundational IT Application Support and Monitoring awareness through the Security Center, hardening settings, and instance best practices. All of these skills come together in a hands-on Capstone Project, leaving learners with practical ServiceNow administration ability that is mapped to emerging, transferable competencies valued across the broader IT workforce.
