Certified Sustainable Project Professional (CSPP)™
About This Course
This three-day course builds practical capability in environmentally sustainable work practices and their effects on work requirements across the project life cycle. Participants analyse data pertaining to the business landscape and environment, including trends and developments in laws and regulations, and apply PESTEL analysis techniques to determine sustainability objectives relevant to project outcomes.
The course introduces the PRiSM (Projects integrating Sustainable Methods) life cycle approach and the P5 Standard, enabling participants to identify and propose opportunities for process improvement in consultation with relevant stakeholders, and to determine root causes of performance gaps across People, Planet, Prosperity, Process and Product. Participants develop plans for the implementation of improvements and optimisation of processes, covering performance benchmarks, impact thresholds and sustainable procurement.
Participants also examine regulatory requirements relating to environmental protection and the mechanisms for monitoring and reporting outcomes when implementing improvements to work practices. Through practical scenarios and exercises, they apply change control procedures, assess the impact of change on relevant stakeholders, and develop communication materials to inform and educate affected stakeholders.
The course also prepares participants to attempt the PMI Certified Sustainable Project Professional (CSPP) examination.
