AI Augmented Project Management
About This Course
This course equips project professionals with practical skills to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI across Agile and Predictive project environments. Learners will use AI to support project planning, execution, collaboration, risk and issue management, reporting and decision support.
Through guided activities and practical application, learners will develop prompt engineering techniques, apply responsible AI and data governance principles, and create an AI-Augmented Project Management Playbook that integrates AI tools, workflows, human oversight and adoption considerations.
What You'll Learn
•Learning Outcome 2: Develop and apply prompt engineering techniques to interact effectively with Generative AI tools for project management workflows, including project planning, execution, collaboration and reporting.
•Learning Outcome 3: Apply AI-enabled project planning techniques to support project scope, schedule, resources, deliverables and work planning, using AI-generated insights to improve project efficiency and productivity.
•Learning Outcome 4: Use AI tools to support project execution and team collaboration, including task management, communication, information synthesis and monitoring of project activities.
•Learning Outcome 5: Apply AI-assisted techniques for risk, issue and change management to identify potential risks and issues, analyse project information, assess impacts and support appropriate project responses.
•Learning Outcome 6: Use AI-enhanced analytics and decision-support techniques to analyse project information, generate project reports, identify trends and support evidence-based project decision-making.
•Learning Outcome 7: Apply responsible AI, data privacy and AI governance principles when using AI tools for project management, including appropriate handling of project data, confidentiality, security, accuracy, transparency and human oversight.
•Learning Outcome 8: Develop an AI-augmented project management playbook that integrates appropriate AI tools, prompts, workflows and governance practices, human oversight, organisational readiness and adoption considerations across the project lifecycle across the project lifecycle.
•Learning Outcome 9: Apply AI-augmented project management techniques in a practical project scenario to demonstrate the effective use of AI for planning, execution, risk and issue management, reporting and decision support.
Entry Requirements
Basic understanding of project management principles
Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6.
Possess basic digital literacy and be comfortable using common workplace productivity and online collaboration tools.
