Gain Real Outcomes for Work (GROW) - AI-Native Product Management for Digital Transformation
About This Course
This course helps learners develop the mindset and practical skills of an artificial intelligence (AI)-native product owner in digital transformation settings. Instead of only defining specifications or managing delivery tasks, learners will learn how to identify the right problems to solve, understand user needs, define product value, prioritise minimum viable product (MVP) scope and work with stakeholders to shape digital solutions that are usable, feasible and outcome-driven. Through hands-on activities, case discussions and a workplace-oriented product challenge, learners will apply product management, human-centred design and AI-enabled techniques to support product discovery, requirements definition, prototyping, prioritisation and stakeholder communication.
The course comprises:
• Instructor-led guided hands-on exercises
• Individual or group-based project to design and create product artefacts, including problem statement, user stories, MVP scope, roadmap, and product pitch etc.
• Final presentation to demonstrate product artefacts
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
• Shift from a “build-to-spec” mindset to a “build-the-right-thing” product mindset
• Apply product ownership and human-centred design approaches to identify user needs, define problems and frame digital product opportunities.
• Use AI tools responsibly to support product discovery, ideation, requirements drafting, prioritisation and stakeholder communication.
• Develop and present practical product artefacts, such as user stories, MVP scope, prioritised features, roadmap or product pitch, for a digital transformation scenario.
Upon completion of the course, learners will gain a strong understanding of the digital transformation process and develop the practical skills needed to drive AI-enabled workplace innovation in a real world setting.
What You'll Learn
Through a project-based learning approach, learners will learn how to identify user needs, analyse workplace or business challenges, and define digital product opportunities that create value for users and the organisation. The course focuses on practical workplace application, enabling learners to move beyond defining specifications and managing project tasks, towards framing the right problems, prioritising product ideas, and shaping solutions that are usable, feasible, and outcome-driven.
Learners will also gain experience in using Artificial Intelligence (AI), no-code, low-code, and productivity tools to support product discovery, research synthesis, ideation, requirements drafting, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scoping, prototyping, and stakeholder communication. By working on a realistic workplace or organisational scenario, learners will develop the ability to gather feedback, refine product ideas, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend practical digital product improvements that support adoption and business value.
At the end of the course, learners will have a strong understanding of AI-native product ownership, as well as hands-on experience developing and presenting practical product artefacts such as problem statements, user stories, prioritised features, MVP scope, roadmaps, prototypes, and stakeholder pitches.
