Introduction to Modern AI Systems
About This Course
This two-day course delivers a practical introduction to modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems for working professionals. The course will trace the technological evolution of AI from traditional machine learning into the era of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous Agentic AI systems and also covers the limitations of modern AI systems to encourage the responsible AI developments. Through highly interactive, hands-on practices, participants will learn the art of effective Prompt Engineering to maximise daily productivity. Participants will also learn to analyse data using LLMs, transforming raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Moving beyond basic text generation, the curriculum explores advanced enterprise architectures. Participants will discover how to utilise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to connect AI to company knowledge bases. Participants will also design automated Agentic Workflows, learning how to stitch these intelligent components together to achieve seamless, end-to-end workflow automation within their daily business operations.
