About This Course
The ISACA Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM) certification is designed for experienced cybersecurity professionals who want to understand how artificial intelligence is changing the way organizations manage security and risk. The course focuses on the practical challenges businesses face as they adopt AI. Rather than teaching participants how to build or program AI systems, it looks at AI from a business, management, risk, and security perspective.
Participants learn how organizations can introduce AI responsibly while protecting their information, customers, operations, and reputation. The course helps professionals understand the new risks that AI can introduce and how existing security and risk-management practices need to evolve to address them. The course helps organizations establish appropriate oversight of AI. This includes understanding who should be responsible for AI-related decisions, how organizations can determine acceptable levels of risk, and how security professionals can work with business leaders to make informed decisions about the use of AI.
The course also develops an understanding of how AI solutions should be evaluated throughout their use within an organization. Participants learn whether an AI solution is appropriate for a particular business purpose, what could go wrong, what safeguards should be in place, and how the organization can continue to monitor the solution after it has been introduced.

Entry Requirements
At least 3 years of working experience in cybersecurity, information security management, risk management, governance, audit, compliance, advisory, or related technology functions
Foundational understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management and security management principles
Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and responsible AI concepts
Familiarity with organisational policies, controls, compliance requirements or risk assessment activities
Working proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6
