Agentic AI for Job Redesign
About This Course
As AI and agentic systems reshape how work gets done, the ability to redesign jobs has become a defining capability for HR and people managers. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to lead job redesign end-to-end: from making the strategic case and spotting redesign opportunities, to analysing a real role’s tasks, data and skills, to designing a future-state human + AI role and configuring a simple, governed AI agent for one agent-suitable task. You will leave with a practical Job Redesign Action Plan for a real role you bring to class, the judgement to keep redesign fair, safe and human-centred, and a credential aligned to the IHRP AI Fluency in Job Redesign Skills Badge (10B, Proficient). Ultimately, you will be equipped to turn AI disruption into a structured, responsible workforce-transformation advantage for your organisation.
This intensive 2-day workshop provides a practical, end-to-end methodology for human + AI Workforce Planning and Deployment, focusing on the development and implementation of plans to support and meet the organisation's strategic and operational needs. Moving beyond basic AI awareness, the programme empowers HR and people managers to build upon a foundation of AI/IT Strategy, enabling participants to plan, develop and communicate effective inward- and outward-facing AI/IT strategies, solutions and action plans driven by the understanding of the business' future needs and long-term strategic direction. The course concludes with a consolidated Job Redesign Action Plan, ensuring that their Workforce Planning and Deployment strategies are communicated with clarity and impact to drive long-term organisational success.
