Certified AI for Cybersecurity Professional
About This Course
This program designed to equip cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge and hands‑on skills to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) in defending against modern threats. Participants will explore how machine learning, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs) can be applied to intrusion detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) automation, threat hunting, and ethical hacking.
It also bridges the gap between traditional cybersecurity practices and emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI)‑driven approaches. Learners will gain practical experience with open‑source tools (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn), enterprise SOC platforms (Splunk, ELK, Suricata), and LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok) to automate workflows, interpret logs, and generate actionable intelligence. Offensive applications such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)‑augmented reconnaissance and adversarial AI testing are also covered, ensuring participants understand both the defensive and offensive dimensions of AI in security.
The course learning activities and assessment are designed to validate participants' achievement of the stated course learning outcomes and practical competencies. The programme also provides a pathway for participants to pursue an external certification from the Global Skill Development Council (GSDC). Such external certification is supplementary to the course and remains subject to GSDC's prevailing certification requirements.
What You'll Learn
b. Automate Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for log analysis, incident reporting, and alert triage.
c. Use large language models (LLMs) to enrich threat intelligence feeds and generate investigation playbooks.
d. Explore offensive AI applications for ethical hacking and understand adversarial risks.
e. Translate technical findings into executive‑level summaries using Artificial Intelligence (AI)‑assisted reporting.
Entry Requirements
Participants should have basic coding (Python or any other languages), cybersecurity and networking knowledge, and some exposure to security tools.
