Developing AI Agents for Workflow Automation
About This Course
This is a 2-day course that equips learners with the knowledge, strategies, and hands-on skills to develop AI agents that automate workplace workflows and improve operational efficiency. Delivered through a structured blend of concept exploration and practical application, the course guides participants on a clear progression — from workflow thinking and automation design, to building and deploying AI agents using industry-leading no-code and low-code platforms including n8n and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Participants begin by mapping their existing business processes to identify automation opportunities, then transition from foundational Generative AI familiarity to building functional AI agents without writing code. The course deepens into agentic workflow configuration and troubleshooting, prompt engineering for chatbot development, and the practical application of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) in business contexts.
This course addresses the growing demand for AI literacy and automation capability across Singapore's workforce, particularly among professionals in SMEs, enterprises, and government agencies seeking to digitise operations and improve service delivery. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to identify automation opportunities, build and configure basic AI agents, and resolve common workflow and RAG application issues using platform diagnostics — without requiring a programming background.
What You'll Learn
• Advance from having basic experience in Generative AI tools towards building basic no-code AI agents.
• Describe issues in agentic AI workflows and escalate them using system requirement knowledge and platform configurations.
• Apply prompt engineering strategies and model settings to develop AI chatbots on low-code platforms.
• Troubleshoot RAG application issues by interpreting system limitations and software diagnostics on no-code tools.
