Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) - Part 1
About This Course
This is important for
1) Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Battery Management
2) Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Maintenance Management
3) Electric Vehicle High Voltage Systems Maintenance
4) Electric Vehicle Low Voltage Systems Maintenance
Through this course series, Professional engineers will acquire foundational knowledge on electro-mechanical systems at the core of Electric Vehicles (EV) and upcoming electromobility solutions. This is Part-1 of a 2-part course series leading to the practice of enginnering activities related to Battery Electric Vehicle development projects.
At the end of this course, participants are able to:
understand how Electrical Vehicles are designed and function,
identify the main components and systems within Electric Vehicles and how these different parts interoperate
What You'll Learn
2. Mechanical Characteristics of Electric Vehicles
- Aerodynamic drag, Grading Forces, Rolling resistance
