Basic–Intermediate Excel 365
About This Course
This course offers a practical, hands-on introduction to Excel 365 as a tool for extracting meaningful patterns and insights from data to improve workplace performance and decision-making. You will begin by collecting and recording data in a structured workbook, navigating the Excel 365 interface, and managing rows, columns and worksheets so that data is held in a usable form. You will then apply data cleaning techniques through cell, number and date formatting, styles and find-and-replace, and calculate accurately using formulas, functions, arithmetic operators and AutoFill. The course then moves into data manipulation, using tables, sorting, filtering and summary functions to look for connections and structures between data variables, before interpreting and presenting those findings through charts and graphics, managing and printing large workbooks, and customising Excel with templates, themes and hyperlinks.
This course is ideal for beginner to intermediate learners who want to develop solid, job-ready skills in preparing, analysing and interpreting data using a spreadsheet. The ability to clean data, determine what is required for an analysis, and extract insights that inform a decision is a baseline expectation across finance and professional services, administration and office support, operations, and design and project-based industries. By mastering these core and intermediate features you will organise information efficiently, perform accurate calculations, and interpret and present data clearly. These competencies strengthen your employability, support career progression, and prepare you for more advanced data analysis and reporting responsibilities.
What You'll Learn
