Human+ Adaptive Leadership: Leading with Humanity in the Age of AI, Powered by Harvard Business Impact
About This Course
This program empowers leaders to navigate an AI-accelerated workplace by mastering Human+ leaadership practices to guide teams through AI-enabled workplace transformation and embrace the changes necessary to drive sustained improvements
Participants will apply Behavioural Economics in Design to examine the psychological, emotional, and social factors driving team reactions, allowing them to regulate distress and address resistance patterns effectively through deep behavioral insights
The course emphasizes Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance, enabling leaders to establish the necessary frameworks to balance human judgment with machine-generated inputs while managing ethical risks and ensuring compliance within everyday workflows
To maintain stability during periods of uncertainty, learners will develop Operational Risk Management strategies to identify and control risks in fast-changing situations, and use Conflict Management techniques to diffuse structural tensions and build consensus during complex team transitions
By the end of the program, leaders will enhance Workflow Management to coordinate actions across teams and ensure the timely and quality delivery of outcomes, while utilizing Knowledge Management to promote AI-supported information as a strategic organizational asset that enables continuous collective learning
What You'll Learn
2. Explain how AI-accelerated change affects information flows, communication, daily work, team dynamics and role expectations, and apply a simple foresight or workforce planning framework to anticipate role and capability shifts over 3–5 years.
3. Analyse human reactions to AI-driven change, identify operational risk concerns, and develop basic risk management structures such as risk registers, monitoring and reporting routines for AI-enabled workflows.
4. Analyse team behaviour patterns and design agile feedback loops, including check-ins, performance conversations and feedback channels, to support rapid behavioural adaptation in AI-enabled workflows.
5. Evaluate AI-supported workflow decisions by balancing human experience, organisational values, operational context, machine-generated inputs, communication impacts and risk controls.
6. Structure and lead a sense-making conversation using a defined framework to explain what is changing, why it matters and what teams are expected to do, while applying responsible AI ethics and governance safeguards.
7. Produce an AI-enabled team adaptation plan covering workflow checkpoints, ownership, timeliness, quality measures, behavioural nudges, safe experimentation and governance controls.
8. Develop a short-term Human+ leadership action plan that identifies behaviours, conversations, workflow practices, AI governance mechanisms, feedback loops and near-term role and capability shifts to sustain confidence, alignment and momentum.
9. Demonstrate integrated application of Human+ leadership, workflow management, operational risk management, AI ethics and governance, behavioural economics, strategic foresight and feedback-loop design in AI-driven change scenarios through written analysis and case study work.
