Introduction

Maris Stella High School is a government-aided, autonomous Special Assistance Plan (SAP) school for boys, founded by the Marist Brothers. It offers both primary and secondary education, including an Integrated Programme track. The school's vision is to develop each student into a "Marist Gentleman, Scholar, Sportsman and Leader," guided by its motto of Diligence, Determination, Loyalty, and Fraternity.

The school provides a holistic and bilingual education within a Catholic environment, fostering both academic excellence and strong moral character. Its comprehensive curriculum is designed to nurture well-rounded individuals who are intellectually competent, physically robust, and committed to serving the community. Through its rigorous programmes, the school aims to cultivate leaders with a heart for the nation and a global perspective.

A Brief Historical Background

Founded in 1958 by Reverend Brother J. Chanel Soon, Maris Stella High School began in borrowed classrooms to meet the high demand for education in post-war Singapore. The school moved to its own campus at Mount Vernon in 1967.
