1600 BEDOK NORTH AVENUE 4

Singapore 469700

Introduction

St. Anthony's Canossian Secondary School is a government-aided, autonomous Catholic mission school for girls, founded by the Canossian Sisters. The school's vision is to be a Christ-centred learning community that nurtures leaders of tomorrow. Its educational philosophy is guided by the Canossian values of charity, humility, and forgiveness.

The school provides a holistic education that balances academic achievement with character development and spiritual growth. It offers an Applied Learning Programme (ALP) in food science and technology, and a Learning for Life Programme (LLP) in the arts. These programmes aim to develop resilient, compassionate, and principled young women who are prepared to lead and serve the community.

A Brief Historical Background

The school was established in 1879 as St. Anna's School. In 1894, the Canossian Sisters took over the girls' school, which was later separated into primary and secondary schools in 1971.
