Coordinate Implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans
About This Course
The purpose of this Competency Unit is to enable the WSH Coordinator or Supervisor to acquire the knowledge and be equipped with the application skills to coordinate and implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans. The focus of this competency unit is to enlarge the scope of emergency preparedness and response beyond just fire emergencies.
What You'll Learn
PS2 - Coordinate the implementation of WSH Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan in accordance with the identified emergency situations
PS3 - Coordinate the conduct of the appropriate emergency response drills in accordance with the emergency preparedness and response plan
PS4 - Coordinate the maintenance of emergency response equipment
PS5 - Organise the review of the emergency preparedness and response plan
Entry Requirements
Assumed skills and knowledge:
• ES workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 or GCE “N” Level English grade 5 & mathematics grade 5 AND
• Possess WSH skills and knowledge equivalent to that of certificate in WSH with at least 1 year of WSH relevant working experience.
Participants must produce the company letter stating their working experience.
Attendance requirement: 75% for classroom sessions
