About This Course
To provide a broad-based and practice-oriented training that equips students with essential skills and knowledge in the biomedical engineering field. It develops students to meet the needs of the healthcare and medical technology industries specifically as well as the life sciences industry more generally.
What You'll Learn
The targeted skills and knowledge are diverse; ranging from designing, operation and testing of medical devices and equipment to maintaining them. The course provides students with a well-rounded education so that students are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage changes in the new economy. Students are exposed to real work exposure and real-world challenges during their 6-months internship programme with hospital, multinational corporation or research institute.
