About This Course
The Diploma in Tourism & Resort Management course is a versatile course that prepares students for diverse sectors such as Hospitality, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions), Travel and Visitor Attractions. TRM adopts an experiential and project-based curriculum that includes out-of-classroom learning onboard cruises, industry practicum, industry projects and internship to enhance students� effectiveness and contribution to the sectors.
What You'll Learn
To prepare students for the diverse tourism industry, the course curriculum provides them with business foundation knowledge in accounting and finance, business law, statistics and economics in the first year. As students progress to Years 2 and 3, the course aims to equip them with relevant domain and digital skills for employment in Hospitality, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions), Travel and Visitor Attractions. Nurturing the whole student, the course�s experiential and project-based curriculum also develops students ability to adapt, create and innovate.
