About This Course

This module introduces the fundamental IoT Security concepts on data confidentiality, device authentication, and the differences between hardware‐based and software‐ based security. Real‐life demos will be conducted to show the importance of the security with case studies and real world scenarios such as smart home applications. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to understand the importance of IoT security and identify the potential security weakness of a deployed IoT system. The participants will also have a better understanding how hardware based security can secure your IoT devices and applications.
