This module seeks to empower learners with:
1. a good understanding of the impact of digital transformation and the emerging consumer trends on the business landscape.
2. a forward-looking mindset to adapt to future-ready resource planning and service operations practices.
3. the techniques in planning resources.
4. the ability to address service operations pain-points, and value-add and manage performance issues.

What You'll Learn

Digital transformation is hitting the retail world in a big way; changing the way shoppers shop and retailers sell. Many businesses have moved from a single channel retail approach to adopting a multi-channel approach. While having multiple channels bring about more business opportunities, to ensure the delivery of a seamless customer experience across channels, it also gives rise to new challenges in the operation of internal processes, resource allocation as well as manpower management.

This module seeks to empower Sales/Brand Supervisors with a good understanding of the impact of digital transformation on the retail landscape and the benefits of implementing resource planning and service operations to adapt to future-ready practices. They will also learn the skills of reviewing and assessing resource allocation at different points of the service value chain to address and manage service operations pain-points.


The course will cover the following areas:
- The impact of digital transformation on the retail landscape​
- The value of resource planning and service operations for an omnichannel retail approach​
- Resource planning for service operations​
- Service operation management and implementation​

Entry Requirements

- GCE 'O' level Credit (at least C6) in English and Mathematics or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) score: Level 5 for Reading, Listening and Numeracy; and
- With at least 2 years supervisory working experience in retail or 3 years supervisory/managerial working experience in non-retail sector
