About This Course
Upon completion of the workshop, learners will be able to:
• Review organisational strategies and business plans to identify impact on team competency
requirements
• Review current skills of team leaders using appropriate methods and tools to identify skill
requirements
• Work with team leaders to establish their learning priorities and learning and development plans
• Identify learning and development opportunities and provide resources and support to facilitate the development of team leader skills
• Coach their team leaders using the GROW coaching model
What You'll Learn
1.2. Review and identify skill requirements and current skills of Team Leaders through use of
appropriate tools which are critical to achieving performance
1.3. Establish learning priorities and learning and development plans
1.4. Identify learning and development opportunities and facilitate development of Team Leader’s skills
1.5. Review own effectiveness and areas for improvement in capability development approach
2.1. Coaching as an effective and engaging method for developing team leaders at the workplace setting
2.2. Review the effectiveness of the coaching effort against goals to determine improvements in the process
2.3. Sharpen coaching skills by connecting to diverse learning channels and participating in
discussion platforms to enhance workplace performance
Entry Requirements
• Minimum education level: GCE 'O' Level or equivalent;
• Required years of experience: At least 1 year of work experience; and
• Be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5
