About This Course
This course will begin with a walkthrough of the venture capital/private equity world to show the risks and challenges as a startup evolves before going public. We will also look at some of the recent negotiation tactics which significantly increased the valuation of some startups. In the second part of the course, we will discuss 12 strategies in the hedge fund industry. Students will get hands-on practices on some of the more important strategies with the objective of finding a process that matches their risk tolerance level.
What You'll Learn
Finally, we will cover the key factors why many hedge funds that manage $100 million with a 2% annual fee plus performance bonus could not survive. Participants will also learn to recognize red flags that could signal illegal practices by (failing) hedge funds.
