About This Course
The BCLS with CPR AED Blended course equips participants with the skills for resuscitating the collapsed adult and infant victims. Successful candidates will be awarded with a BCLS certificate and CPR AED accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council with 2-year validity. Trainees can complete the theory modules of the course online and thereafter attend a classroom training session for the practical modules and assessment
What You'll Learn
• Cardiac Arrest and You – Introduction, the heart, the lungs and the circulation, risk factors for heart attack, what happens in a heart attack, what happens in a cardiac arrest, other common causes of cardiac arrest, the chain of survival.
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – The importance of Early CPR, Adult One – Rescuer CPR, Standards for proper chest compressions, the recovery position.
• Automated external Defibrillator (AED) – The importance of Early defibrillation, AED, Preparation of AED use, Placement of Defibrillation Pads, Defibrillation Procedures, AED Protocol Summary, Post – incident Procedures, Child / Infant defibrillation.
• Adult Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
• Child CPR
• Child Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
