About This Course
The aim of the course is to equip the professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) who are currently working or those intending to make a career switch to the Business Travel, Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (BTMICE) industry with in-depth knowledge and skills pertaining to project management in identifying the event scopes, objectives and requirements to develop detailed project plans through the executing process in event initiation, event planning, event implementation, and event control, completion and review.
What You'll Learn
Upon completion of the module, the learners will be able to :
• determine the business objectives, scopes and requirements of an event as project
• develop detailed project plans to provide team direction on obtaining resources (human resources, physical and technical resources, financial resources, time allocation), acquiring financing (from internal stakeholders, external suppliers, financial institutions) and identifying potential risks
• manage respective stakeholders, financial budgets and handling of project risks to facilitate smooth execution of project plans
• fulfil the project completion by delivering the required outcomes according to the agreed resources
