Using real-life examples, along with hands-on usage of online tools, this topic will be demystified. The participants will see that the tools are readily available, easy to use, and free. They will further be able to comprehend how search analytics and social listening apply to producing better content on their social media.

This course is designed to will give participants the basics on the use of search analytics and social listening to understand their audiences better. Having a social media presence is not enough. If organisations, businesses and even personalities are to make the best use of it, they must be able to understand their target audiences. Only then can they get it right and reap the rewards of positive audience engagement. Getting it right includes being able to identify the key words, phrases and topics used by those audiences. They must also be able to identify what is trending at any given moment, and be able to exploit it. They will then be in a position to provide content that their target audiences will want to consume. In order to do this, participants must understand how to use search analytics and social listening. However, for much of the general public, they are not familiar with this topic. Given its seemingly technical nature, cloaked by geeky jargon, they might also find it daunting to even start learning more about the topic.
