About This Course

"The course aims to help learners understand the fundamentals of technology forecasting and intelligence, learning the methods of technology forecasting and intelligence, applying the techniques to various strategic decision-making situations, as well as preparation and presentation of forecast and intelligence to be used by decision makers.
Learners will acquire a good understanding of
(i) how the application of technology in logistics and supply chains can be used for optimization, simulation and modelling to improve operational efficiency of the supply chain,
(ii) how supply chain management equipped with analytics and simulation-based support systems can be use to manage complexity and improve operational efficiency and supply chain agility, and
how to use network design models for strategic supply chain decisions such as locations of manufacturing sites and distribution networks."
